The application process can be completed very quickly. Assuming you complete all the steps in the application process without delay, you can be a full-fledged Wyndy within 1 - 2 business days (and in many cases just a few hours) after beginning your application.
Here are the steps in the application process:
1. Sign up
Go to https://www.wyndy.com/sitters, hit “apply now,” complete the Account Information, then hit “submit.”
2. Verify your email addresses
After you hit “submit," you will need to confirm both your .edu email address and your primary email address by clicking the link in the verification email we send you. If you do not receive this email within 2 hours of hitting “submit” on the Account Information screen, check your spam folder. You can also go to https://app.wyndy.com/sitters/confirmation/new to re-enter your email address and have that resent to you! If you're still having trouble, email support@wyndy.com.
3. Complete your application
Complete the remaining portion of the application, including your short video submission. Don't stress about the video. We will never post it anywhere public.
4. Complete your background check
If you are approved based on your initial application, you will receive an email with a link to the background check process, which you must complete before you can gain access to the Wyndy platform. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours of submitting your initial application, check your spam folder. If you're still having trouble, email support@wydny.com.
5. Get ready to start work as a Wyndy!
Assuming you pass your background check, you will receive an email officially welcoming you to the Wyndy family. Get ready to make extra cash and show families that you are more than just a babysitter—you are a Wyndy.
