Whether you are a brand new Wyndy sitter or have been picking up jobs through the app for years, you'll want to have a complete and updated profile on Wyndy. Parents are much more inclined to offer jobs to sitters with informative profiles, so you'll want to check yours today!
Go to the main menu in the Wyndy app and select "Profile Info." You'll see the "Personal" section first. You can update your picture by clicking the existing photo. The app will let you choose one from your device or take a new one! Make sure your photo is just of you. Our must successful sitters use professional-looking headshots without filters. Next you'll see contact information and address. We don't share that with browsing parents, but you'll want to keep it up-to-date! Parents can see your "College Info" and "Hometown Info" so you should make an effort to keep that current.
The next screen is your "Experience." Make sure you check the boxes with your preferences! Parents can see this information. Making sure it's accurate leads to the most magical Wyndy matches for everybody!
The "Extras" section is also visible to parents and allows you to put in as much detail as you like. Are you a nursing major with lots of hands-on infant experience? List that on "Career Interests." Do you volunteer off campus as a tutor? That's a great thing to list in "Off-Campus Involvement." Are you an athlete with an eye towards becoming a coach? Put that as a "Campus Activity." Do you have a skill or certification such as CPR that may be of interest to a parent? Make sure you work that in too! This is your place to introduce yourself to potential parents, so go ahead and fill out all the sections that apply!
The last section is your "Payment Info." You'll want to make sure that's up-to-date! You don't want to experience any unnecessary delays in getting paid for your future Wyndy jobs!
