Who performs the background checks on Wyndys? What does the background check entail?

All Wyndys have passed a comprehensive background check, which is performed by a third party company, Sterling. Sterling validates the applicant’s identity using their Social Security Number. The applicant’s name and social security number are then checked against multiple databases, including national and county criminal records databases, the National Sex Offender Registry, and Global Watchlist.
