Once I connect with someone through Wyndy, do I have to keep the relationship on the platform?

Modified on Mon, Jun 15 at 3:53 PM

Yes. Any relationship that starts on Wyndy — whether you're a parent or a sitter — must stay on Wyndy. That includes all payments.

This isn't just a policy requirement. It's how both sides stay protected. Payment records, dispute support, and platform accountability all depend on transactions happening in-app. The moment a payment moves off-platform, those protections disappear for everyone involved.

Taking a booking or payment off-app is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in account suspension.

If you've built a great relationship with a sitter or family, Wyndy makes it easy to keep working together. Parents can add sitters to their Favorites — and those sitters are featured first when they apply to future jobs. Re-booking someone you trust takes seconds.

If you're aware of off-platform payments happening between a sitter and family, report it through Me → Help.
