Overview
On 02/01, Wyndy rolled out a new payout provider, Dots.Dev. When you update to app version 3.12.9, you'll be prompted to update your payout information. Until you onboard with Dots, you'll continue to receive payouts via Stripe, our current payout provider. We will discontinue payouts via Stripe in the near future, so please update to Dots as soon as possible to avoid interruptions to your payouts.
Onboarding with Dots
Onboarding with Dots is easy and only takes a couple of minutes. Make sure you have your social security number on hand to complete the onboarding process.
1. Navigate to Payment Settings
To complete Dots onboarding, simply update to app version 3.12.9. You'll receive an in-app prompt to manage your payment settings. Simply tap "Open Payment Settings."
If you navigate away from Dots onboarding before completing payout setup, no worries! Simply navigate to the "More" menu in the app and tap "Payment Settings."
2. Tax Compliance
Prior to setting up your payout method, you'll be asked to verify your phone number and complete a Tax Compliance form. You'll need your social security number to complete the form. Dots securely encrypts your data, making it safe and secure to provide this information. Read more about Dots' security measures here.
Dots will provide you with the appropriate tax form each year. Always consult a tax professional about properly reporting your Wyndy earnings.
3. Add Payout Method
Once you've completed the Tax Compliance form, you're ready to add a payout method!

More Payout Options
Dots allows you to receive payouts via bank account, PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App! Here's how to set up each option:
Bank Account (Payout time: 1-2 business days)
There are 2 ways to set up your bank account to receive payouts of your Wyndy earnings:
1. Sign into your online bank account via Dots' integration with Plaid. In a few easy steps, Dots will create an automatic connection to your bank account!
2. Manually enter your bank account number and routing number.
PayPal (Payout time: 5-10 minutes)
Simply add the email associated with your PayPayl account.
Venmo (Payout time: 5-10 minutes)
Simply add the phone number or handle associated with your Venmo account.
Cash App (Payout time: 1-2 business days)
Provide your Cash tag, account number, and routing number.
Withdrawing Funds
To withdraw your Wyndy earnings, navigate to "Bookings" then "Earnings." When you want to withdraw your balance, simply tap "Transfer." Please note there is a transfer fee of $1.50 per withdrawal. To limit the impact of transfer fees on your earnings, you can turn automatic payouts off and withdraw larger amounts less frequently.
